About Us

The Lancini Group of Companies is a progressive property development group that excels at identifying, developing, constructing and managing high quality retail and commercial properties.

Established in 1981 with offices in Townsville and Brisbane, the Group is well known for its ability to deliver a property need from concept to completion. Operating throughout Queensland the Lancini Group has made its mark with outstanding projects in Townsville, Brisbane, Cairns, Mackay and Central Queensland.

Lancini has established strong relationships at all levels within the industry. These relationships pave the way for the group to be in touch with property opportunities with the knowledge and experience to be able to convert these prospects into successful viable developments.

Today the Companies portfolio covers all facets of the property industry – from retail shopping centres, commercial offices, homemaker and industrial properties. The team has the expertise and experience that includes design, construction and development managers, accountants, property management professionals and long term support staff.

As Managing Director of Lancini Group of Companies, Laurence Lancini commenced his construction business over 30 years ago. He started as a house builder based in Townsville and progressed over the years to grow his construction business to a state wide operation covering all aspects of property development.

The recipient of many industry celebrated State Awards the Lancini Group of Companies is considered by many as the premier property developer in North Queensland.

Laurence Lancini

Managing Director

The sole director of Lancini Property and Development, Laurence Lancini, is a licenced builder and commenced his construction business some 30 years ago. He started as a house builder based in Townsville and progressed over the years to grow his business to a state wide operation covering all facets of property development.

Peita McCarthy

Executive Assistant to Managing Director

Peita joined the Lancini Group in September 2016 and is the Executive Assistant to the Managing Director and Paralegal assisting General Counsel. Peita has a Bachelor of Laws from James Cook University and has experience as a solicitor in private practice and numerous years’ experience in client service and executive support. Peita’s experience has her well positioned to provide quality support and assistance to Laurence Lancini and Steven Titmus.

Steven Titmus

General Counsel – Legal and Commercial

Joining us in 2014, Steven Titmus brings his extensive experience in the areas of commercial and property law to the position of General Counsel. Steven has 20 years experience as a solicitor in private practice.

Luke Guazzo

Chief Financial Officer

Luke joined the Lancini Group in February 2007 as the Management Accountant. As a qualified CPA Luke was then promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2008, the position in which he still holds today. Luke’s responsibilities span from corporate governance, finance, risk, IT, HR and general duties associated with the management of the Finance and administration team

Salvatore Guardala

Group Portfolio Manager

Salvatore joined the Lancini Group in February 2014 as the Senior Property Manager. Salvatore is responsible for all property management functions including leasing and marketing of the groups commercial and retail properties. With over 9 years experience in the retail property sector, Salvatore has previously held roles as a Centre Manager and most recently a Retail Leasing Manager.

Debbie Gelling

Senior Retail Property Manager

Debbie joined the Lancini Group in January 2006 as the Property Manager for the Townsville Division. Debbie has over 11 year’s industry experience, having held a previous position as Administration Manager of Willows Shopping Centre. Debbie’s current role with the Lancini Group is to manage a mix of retail and commercial properties including the operations, leasing and administration duties.

Adam Martin

Retail and Commercial Property Manager

Adam joined the Lancini Group in July 2013 as the Commercial Property Manager. Adam’s responsibilities include managing the recently completed 420 on Flinders office tower which is the new Townsville headquarters for Ergon Energy. Adam has extensive experience in the management, leasing and marketing of commercial premises through previous roles both in the private sector and over the past 11 years as the Senior Lease Manager for the Queensland Government’s North Queensland Portfolio.

Rick McLaren

Development & Acquisitions Manager

Rick joined the Lancini Group in February 2013 as the Retail Leasing and Acquisitions Manager. Rick is responsible for the leasing activities and new acquisitions across the group. With over a decade of real estate industry experience in both private and public companies, his experience encompasses valuation, development and investment banking in both Australia and overseas.

Shantelle Jones

Marketing Manager

Shantelle joined the Lancini Group in March 2016 as Marketing Manager for the QLD portfolio. Shantelle is responsible for retail marketing, corporate sponsorships and public relations. Shantelle has experience working with a range of clients and high profile brands and brings a wealth of knowledge in marketing, advertising and event management. Shantelle has worked for the McConaghy Group and Stockland over the last 10 years. Shantelle is responsible for strategic marketing of the Lancini Groups’ assets and providing business support to retailers.

Tomas Lancini

Development Executive

Tomas joined the Lancini Group in August 2015. Tomas has previous industry experience as a Retail Manager at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre and Property Manager with Knight Frank. Tomas is involved with various projects within the group’s portfolio including shopping centre redevelopments, greenfield site acquisitions and mixed use developments incorporating both retail and office uses.

Victoria Miller

Leasing Executive

Victoria joined the Lancini Group in November 2016 as a Leasing Executive. With over 10 years of industry experience as a Leasing Executive working for major landlords across varying sizes of shopping centres in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania, Victoria is responsible for the leasing transactions in the Brisbane office.

Scott Noseda

Project Manager

Scott joined the Lancini Group in March 1994 as a Project Administrator, working on housing, units and small commercial projects. Over a period of time Scott, who also holds his own builders licence, took on the role of Project Manager where he managed larger multi-residential and commercial developments, most notably Domain Central in Townsville. In recent years, Scott has been involved in various projects in Cairns, Mackay & Townsville.

George Robinson

Construction Manager

George joined the Lancini Group in September 1997 as a carpenter working on the RSL Serviced Apartments at Rowes Bay. George progressed to a leading hand carpenter position and then a site foreman position for retail/warehouse developments, where he had the responsibility of managing the site construction to handover a completed building to tenants for retail fit outs. More recently George has been working as Construction Manager on various shopping centre developments and refurbishments for the Lancini Group across Queensland.

Barry Davis

Civil Construction Manager

Barry joined the Lancini Group in November 2002 as the Civil Project Manager for Victoria Point Town Centre in Brisbane. Barry now manages the civil works on the company’s projects throughout Queensland and is responsible for the construction of roads, car parks and service infrastructure on the projects undertaken by the group. Barry has over 35 years experience in the management and supervision of civil works in Australia, Middle East and the South Pacific.
